Most critics are saying that iPhone 7, the smartphone that is going to be released during the month of September is going to have lackluster features, but the iPhone being released in 2017 is going to be something else entirely, according to the latest rumor.
According to the latest rumor from Apple Insider, the design of the 2017 iPhone, which is being referred to as iPhone 8, will be a completely separate entity as far as smartphones go, and will feature a complete design overhaul. One of the things mentioned in the rumor suggest that the phone will have the following things embedded in its display:
- Touch ID
Looking at how much technology can actually be crammed inside a smartphone, we are going to stick to our gut and state that this is entirely possible, but to what end? Well, turns out that Apple is determined to make its iPhones as thin as possible, with rumors flying around that the upcoming iPhone 7 may or may not sport a 3.5mm headphone jack. According to an analyst by the name of Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities, the iPhone coming in 2017 will also have an AMOLED display and will have a 5.8-inch screen. We can only wonder how large the battery capacity of future iPhones are going to be, but Apple does tend to cram in larger cells in devices that possess larger screens.
iPhone 8 might also have a chipset manufactured by either TSMC or Samsung and will be based on the 7nm architecture, but it is way too early to tell what surprises 2017 are going to hold for us. For now, we can only conclude that the above listed things are probably going to be embedded inside the display of the iPhone so that its overall thickness is reduced even further.
Naturally, Apple and all of its employees are not going to mumble a single word of this, so let us wait for 2017 to arrive so that it can be confirmed if the iPhones entering that era are going to possess a complete design overall, or will Apple stick to its current generation designs.
