To many’s surprise, the news of Sony’s upcoming flagship phone; Sony Xperia X Compact with small screen renderings, is working tremendously in their favor, after the cold response they got on the debut of their Xperia X trio.
Needless to say, all flagship specs of Sony incorporated in a handier piece would certainly turn some heads, which we ascertain that Sony intended all along after the specs we sighted in GFXBench of Xperia X Compact.
Dutch technology site Telefoon abonnement just found the Xperia X Compact GFXBench specifications in the database. The highlighting features include:
- 6 inches 1080P screen,
- powered by Snapdragon 820 processor
- comes with 4GB of memory
- 64GB of external storage
- Rear camera of 16 megapixels and front facing of 8 megapixels
- 4K video support
- But still uses Android 6.0.1 system
It is safe to say that Sony wins credibility points when it comes to delivering a “compact” flagship device with all the flagship features intact. Compared to what others claim as their “mini” and “lite” versions of their main flagships that usually have compromised display and resolutions but the main features stay the same. Summing up; Sony phones are roughly on top when we talk about powerful handy devices.
The new Xperia X compact is expected to be the compact variant of Xperia X when it comes to performance measures and even then the lesser expensive of the two; Xperia X compact, trumps the latter in terms of memory where Xperia X comes with only 3GBof RAM.
The price, however, is not relatively cheap but users might be willing to pay a fair price for a smaller premium phone who’s specs look too good to be true.
The unveiling is expected to happen on September 1 of Sony’s Xperia X Compact along with XZ at the annual IFA consumer electronics show in Berlin.
