Some media outlet think that Apple is still debugging the HomePod. If the Voice Assistant Siri HomePod adaptation did not debug well, then the product cannot be launched. However, Apple did not openly mention any reason, but said it is further enhancing the user experience.

Recently, Apple encouraged developers to develop more applications for the HomePod in the new iOS 11.2, but this device does not seem to be completely open. According to reports, HomePod’s third-party features are subject to certain restrictions and are not open to all developers. For example, in the music section, only Apple’s own Apple Music can be used, and third-party Spotify does not serve as an alternative. Apple could have enefitted by launching the HomePod in the holiday period. Apart from that, not being able to launch a product on a promised date shows bad management too. HomePod will retaild for 349 USD.
