LG V30S ThinQ
LG has divided the AI features into two main categories. In addition to the “Vision AI” there is a “Voice AI” in cooperation with the Google Assistant so that users can quickly reach many smartphone functions. The “Vision API” is subdivided into AI-Cam, QLens and Bright Mode.
While objects captured by the camera are detected by the AI cam and the phone directly suggests a suitable mode for photographing, QLens uses image recognition to display relevant information such as QR codes or recorded sights. The Bright Mode can increase the brightness of a photo without creating a picture noise. According to the manufacturer, the V30S should be the thinnest and lightest smartphone with a display of at least six inches in size. In addition to the standard version, the V30S + ThinQ also offers a variant with more RAM.
In contrast to the new software features, there are no big differences when comparing the datasheet of the smartphone with the specifications of the LG V30. LG again uses a six-inch OLED display, which has QHD resolution. Inside the device, a Snapdragon 835 is used, which is supported by six instead of four gigabytes of RAM. The 128 GB flash memory can be additionally expanded with a microSD card. Another variant, the LG V30S + ThinQ is offered with 256 gigabytes of internal memory.

The operating system Android 8.0 Oreo is preinstalled. For the LG V30, users can only download the previous version Android 7.0. So far, there is no information as to when the smartphone can be purchased. LG also did not mention a price. It, therefore, remains completely unclear when the devices will be delivered, so that the interested parties have to wait for another announcement from LG.
